Birds Eye Docs
By Charlie Phillips 19 February, 2010
It's nearly time for the celebration of female filmmaking, Birds Eye View.
It's starts on March 4th, and they've got some good docs in the pack. Here's the list of them.
The one you really want to see is of course Junior, the audience award winner at this year's Doc/Fest. Were you there for the tears and the love at the screenings? If not then you need to see the film and you'll understand why Eddie was the object of total adoration in Sheffield '09. It's a lovely moving doc, you have to see it - in fact you have to see it again even if you saw it in Doc/Fest.
There's also Rough Aunties, which I'll reiterate for the 100th time is the usual amazingness of Kim L. And She is The Matador looks v good, whilst I also recommend My Neighbour My Killer for a hardcore experience of genocide.
The rest of the fest isn't half bed either with some ace training opps too. Go see the birds.
