Nathalie Windhorst (1972) studied Film and Television at the University of Utrecht. She became buyer for public broadcaster VPRO in 1998. In 2004 she became head of acquisition for VPRO. In 2005 all acquisition departments of the Dutch public broadcasters merged. Nathalie created the documentary acquisition department for 5 different broadcasters, LLINK, NPS, RVU VARA and VPRO. She is responsible for acquisition and prebuys of creative documentaries, art biographies, factual entertainment, music and current affairs.
