A collaborative workshop with the team from If Not Us, Then Who?, an organisation supporting environmental leadership from Indigenous Peoples and local communities, exploring collaborative filmmaking practices.

This participatory workshop explores the perspectives from which K'iche' Maya indigenous women tell their stories, and how cinema can serve as an extension of those perspectives and territories. This is a space for collective creation: movement, body, and territory rooted in K'iche' Maya spirituality. Together we will exchange ways of feeling and thinking about cinema, and explore what it means to decolonise the way we tell stories.

Wear comfortable clothing. Bring an object of personal value, something that holds significance in your own story.
