A workshop exploring Somali history in Sheffield through archives and memory, following a film screening of A Story Left Behind.

Following the screening of A Story Left Behind, join us on a journey through Sheffield’s archives to uncover Somali history in the Sheffield archives, prior to 1988. This creative workshop brings together historical records and personal memory, mapping the legacy of Somali presence in the city. Connect with your roots, learn to explore the archives, and help shape a shared history for future generations.
