To celebrate the World Premiere of The Archivist, we’re taking the scenic route to the cinema — and turning the journey itself into part of the spectacle. (http://sheffdocfest.com/film/archivist

Gather in Tudor Square and join a glorious procession through the city.

Expect Morris dancers, lantern bearers, sword dancers, strange sights, curious sounds, and plenty of surprises along the way.

Together we'll weave our way past Sheffield Town Hall, through the Peace Gardens, down The Moor, and onwards to The Light Cinema for the premiere.

Inspired by the uncanny spirit of Weird Walk Presents: DJ Paul Hartnoll’s Folk Horror Techno Disco Roadshow, this will be a celebration of folklore, ritual, music, and mischief in the heart of the city.

Come walk with us. Bring your curiosity. Follow the lanterns, and help transform the streets of Sheffield into a moving folk-horror carnival on its way to the big screen.

Free to join. Strange and wonderful by design.
