Doc/Fest - Sheffield

Fancy an opportunity to have a chat and gossip about documentary, and network with fellow delegates, whilst knitting a scarf, cross-stitching a documentary scene, and perhaps having a drink? This is your chance. We will supply you with wool to knit or crochet and thread to sew or cross-stitch, whilst you discuss the docs you’ve seen and the projects you’re pitching. Bring the craft project you’re currently working on, or start something new to depict your Doc/Fest experience. A fun event, but also a chance to meet and discuss ideas with other festival delegates.

We’ll even be offering a chance to make a documentary social change slogan based on some of the docs in the programme, thanks to the Craftivist Collective

*The Craftivist Collective is a new group set up to to expose the scandal of global poverty, and human rights injustices though the power of craft and public art. As a group and individuals we do this through provocative, non-violent creative actions.
