Edie and Thea were a hot couple. If you sat in a New York café and saw them walk by in the 1950s you would easily rank them among the city’s coolest and best dressed. Either one could have their pick of anyone in the city’s influential underground scene. But they wanted each other. Their histories were connected by a survival instinct during the peak of anti-Semitism and a time when coming out was not even an option. So its no surprise they fell in love, but few believed their relationship would last a lifetime. Edie and Thea are the two inspiring women filled with determination and adoration for each other that make up this true love story affectionately told through Super 8 home movies, faded colour slides and old fashioned storytelling.
