Simon is Deputy Head of Channel 4’s Documentaries department, where he is chiefly responsible for commissioning documentary series. Notable C4 Docs series successes have included ‘The Hospital’, ‘The Family’, and ‘Meet The Natives’. Prior to taking over the department’s series portfolio, Simon mainly commissioned single docs, such as BAFTA Best Doc nominees ‘A Boy Called Alex’, ‘The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off', 'The Force', and ‘Breaking Up With The Joneses’, and BAFTA Best Doc winner ‘Make Me Normal’.
