Sandi Scott is an executive producer with the BBC Knowledge department. She is also an award winning director and series producer. She was nominated for a BAFTA & won Grierson, Indie and IPG awards for her work on Jamie’s Kitchen. She has also won a St. Martin’s Trust Award, and a Radio Times Readers’ Award for The Convent. As executive producer, she was responsible for last year’s Fresh 2009 search for new directors. The 2 Fresh films performed outstandingly in the Adult Season, with Tony, I’ve Lost My Family getting the highest AI, and Autistic Me, one of the highest rating docs on the channel. She is currently spear-heading the expansion of the Fresh Strand for 2010 with a doubling of output across BBC 3.
