Binger Lab Maker To Maker
DOC LAB CLINIC: MAKER TO MAKER COMES TO SHEFFIELD
Coordinated by Binger Lab (starring Doc Lab Directors/Advisors as experts)
Binger will take its successful Maker-to-Maker program to Sheffield Doc/Fest and shape an event for filmmakers with a project in development. It's a two-hour session during which documentary filmmakers meet two established colleagues (in two separate meetings) with whom they discuss their projects, covering the aspects that work and the aspects that still need work.
In order to enter the meeting open-mindedly the filmmakers don't know whom they'll be meeting with whereas the experts do know and prepare the meeting by reading and watching project material. Each meeting will last 45 minutes. After the first round people rotate for a second meeting to broaden the input to be given/received.
