Join us and the BBC Storyville team for an unforgettable Pussy Riot Opening Night afterparty as we kick off five days of intense partying in the East End Bar.

Underwire Networking featuring After Tiller – East End - 15:00 – 17:00

Underwire, the short film festival showcasing women working across the crafts of filmmaking, brings their regular networking night Time of the Month to Doc/Fest with special guests from the team behind After Tiller.


Grits ‘n’ Gravy: EEFF Networking – East End – 18:00 – 20:00


The EEFF's cinematic celebration of the highways, byways and bayous of the Deep South, featuring award-winning forays into the badlands of Texas, inner-city Georgia, juke joints and the art of gumbo, complete with EEFF networking and bourbon cocktails.


Kitchen Sink Collective presents Circus Togni – East End - 20:00 - 21:00

Mesmerising screening of recently restored 8mm films - which were found severely damaged inside a circus truck - shot by members of the most famous dynasty of circus artists in Italy, the Togni family.

Dazed & Confused + Vimeo are celebrating counter-cultural documentary by throwing an insane late night party for you from midnight until sunrise. Dazed DJs, free booze and some of the most exciting filmmakers from across the world will make for a night to remember.

Supported by the fabulous Documentary Campus, enjoy an evening of food and wine. Followed by some shameless blameless fun on the dance floor with Sean Rowley's Guilty Pleasures, plus cabaret dance troupe Hot Gusset. Also featuring the Nordic Vodka Hour (from 22:30), supported by Filmkontakt Nord, a chance to meet the Nordic delegation over a shot (or two) of vodka. Entry free with a delegate pass. An open 'competition' for twelve of the bravest Docfest delegates, performing their choice of songs in the hopes of impressing a panel of judges and the compere for the evening, Inigo Gilmore (as Elvis), and walking away with a prize.

Come see PSB's uniquely spell-binding live AV Transmissions see them weave samples from old public information films, archive footage and propaganda material around live drums, guitar, banjo and electronics as they teach the lessons of the past through the music of the future


Hot Docs Party - East End - 20:00


Join us for a drink and dance at the all singing all dancing, last party at of Sheffield Doc/Fest hosted by our dear friends Hot Docs. DJ’ed by the irrepressible Anna Greenwood of Guilty Pleasures joined by Sheffield’s own street dancers Hantu Collective, Rationale and friends.
