Where to Eat and Drink
There are several main areas of restaurants and bars within 5-10 minutes walk from the Festival location. Here is a rough guide...
Near the Peace and Winter Gardens are an array of large popular chain restaurants including Piccolino, Café Rouge and HA!HA!.
Further west, past City Hall is Division Street - a popular haunt for students. Head here for independent restaurants, bars and the Forum – a quirky independent shopping arcade worth a look with a café bar open throughout the day.
At the end of Division Street is the West One flat and restaurant complex, here Division Street joins West Street – a lively nightdistrict filled with more restaurants, clubs and pubs.
South of the city centre, London Road has a variety of colourful restaurants on offer, and Ecclesall Road (about 15 mins walk south-west from the centre of town) is a quiet ‘golden mile’ of contemporary independent restaurants, cafés and bars. You can also look at the Sheffield top 10 places to eat
