Temporary Job Opportunities
Doc/Fest wouldn’t happen without the hard work and enthusiasm of many temporary workers every year.
Stage Managers
- Responsible for the daily operation of a screening venue, conference venue or party venue
- Point of contact for all the workers, volunteers, speakers, guests in that venue
- Ensures all sessions, screenings and events start and end on time
- Controls and manages tight changeovers
- Liaises with filmmakers, session producers, speakers, venue technicians and other venue staff, Doc/Fest staff, Front of House, archival film crew and photographer
- Manages volunteers
- Ability to work independently, calmly, and react quickly under pressure. Confident and assertive
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised and efficient
