The Power Hour
The Power Hour meetings are an exclusive invitation-only opportunity for Specials Board projects. If you're not selected for MeetMarket, this is a great way to connect with, and pitch to, the people who can support your documentary, factual or interactive project.
The Power Hour meetings are a way for Doc/Fest delegates with a project on the Specials Board to be able to meet one-to-one with selected funders, buyers and mentors in the festival's marketplace. Three matchmade sessions will take place on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th June, in which Decision Makers will take meetings for a total of 1 hour, bookable in advance as individual 10 minute meetings. The Decision Makers are themed by genre, type or geography for each session. Only those whose projects that fit well with the funding priorities for the Decision Makers taking Power Hour meetings will be offered places.

HOW TO BOOK
If you would like to meet with a Decision Maker who is participating in the Power Hour meetings and have an appropriate project please email Chris Black stating the name of your Specials Board project. If you are requesting meetings with more than three Decision Makers please state your top three preferences.
Requesting a Power Hour meeting does not guarantee you a meeting. We reserve the right to refuse places to applicants, but if your project is deemed suitable, then we'll consider requests on a first-come first-serve basis.
We will send out confirmed meeting schedules week commencing Monday 27th May.
You must be a registered Sheffield Doc/Fest Delegate for the request to be accepted - any requests from those not registered as delegates will be unsuccessful.
For any queries relating to the Power Hour meetings and booking request please email Chris Black.
The Doc/Fest marketplace team are also happy to connect delegates with Decision Makers in other informal ways where appropriate - if you'd like advice on the best way to meet with Decision Makers at Sheffield Doc/Fest, please email Charlie Phillips.
