Sessions Online

Sheffield Doc/Fest has the most amazing archive of session recordings - packed with hundreds of fabulous masterclasses, industry panels and debates. We know it is impossible for delegates to attend every session they want to during the festival week. To let you catch up with the panels you missed in the last few years, we are making the Sheffield Sessions available online.

Speakers in our Sheffield Sessions archive include commissioners, distributors, documentary directors and producers, as well as key crew members and leading digital innovators from all over the world. You can catch them all at our YouTube channel.

The channel currently features 100 sessions and we will be updating the channel regularly to build what will fast become the biggest online documentary resource in the world.

Below are some of the great videos from previous years that we have to offer.

Enjoy!

Occupy Wall Street Livestream This!

Tim Pool became an overnight online phenomenon the night Occupy Wall Street was first evicted from Zuccotti Park in New York City. His live stream marathon drew more than 20,000 simultaneous viewers and 250,000 unique visitors throughout the course of the day. Pool uses a smart phone with a taped sign reading "livestream" -- and streams unfiltered, unedited footage. He invites the viewing public to join in by directly asking questions, which he responds to while reporting live. Come and hear Tim talk about his experience as one of the most popular livestreamers in the world and find out what makes a successful livestream that audiences want to tune into.
