Submit a Film
The vitality of Sheffield Doc/Fest’s programme relies on the films received through our annual call for submissions. Established and debut filmmakers are encouraged to apply.
Documentaries completed after June 2009 are preferred, but films completed before this are also considered. Feature, medium and short length documentaries of any style or subject produced for television, cinema, online, or as part of film school course work, are welcomed for consideration into the 2010 official programme.
The Film Submission fee is £25 + VAT per film.
Films schools are eligible for a discount. Please read the Rules and Regulations PDF for details.
We also accept film screeners to be submitted via an online platform as well as DVD. Please see the Submission Guidelines PDF for details on what platforms we accept.
Closing date for submitting your film is Wednesday 16 June.
