Sheffield Doc/Fest holds a series of workshops, training sessions and events throughout the year, offering complete preparation for getting your project pitched, funded and distributed in the international documentary marketplace, and understanding how to fund, distribute, market and exhibit your factual media in new ways. Devise to Deliver 2

Devise to Deliver is a groundbreaking 7-month training scheme designed for innovative filmmakers and mediamakers wishing to broaden their understanding of the possibilities of digital media, delivered in partnership with Crossover Labs and supported by Creative Skillset. The programme covers developing multiplatform business skills, and embracing new ways to fund, distribute and market films and cross-platform projects through digital technology. D2D will train you in becoming a leading Producer of Marketing and Distribution (PMD) and supporting the impact of a slate of films and digital projects with your knowledge. Engine Room Pitch Workshops

The Engine Room Pitch workshop is an intensive two day proposal development and pitching workshop to help you prepare your factual project for UK and international funding, produced with Wide Eye Pictures.

Seize The Future

We are also delighted to hold Seize the Future workshops with Peter Broderick and Sandi DuBowski. This workshop offers a masterclass over two days in alternative financing and distribution in the digital age.
