The WorldView/Community Channel Sheffield Live Pitch
Be granted up to £10,000 on the theme 'Women mean Business'
CBA WorldView and Community Channel are looking for six new or emerging documentary filmmakers to pitch their ideas to an industry panel on the afternoon of Thursday 14th June for the opportunity to be granted up to £10,000 of development funding
In many countries women are made to feel that commerce is literally none of their business. We will be seeking ideas for a 15 - 20-minute documentary that creatively explores positive stories about women and business in the developing world. The chosen film will challenge preconceptions about women with a surprising and engaging storyline.
The successful film will be shown on the Community Channel later in the year and there will be an opportunity to discuss other distribution outlets.
APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED - applicants will be notified of selection later in May
