Abbeydale Picture House

Large 20th century building pictured against a blue sky. Beneath a turret of the building, engraved in stone: Cinema

One of Sheffield's most iconic buildings, Abbeydale Picture House is a beautiful Grade II listed building. Its striking presence first graced Abbeydale Road in 1920 as a luxury cinema. This year our awards ceremony and closing film, the world premiere of The Story of Looking by Mark Cousins, will screen here.
