Thank you for your Marketplace submissions!

A big thank you to those of you who submitted their projects to the MeetMarket and Alternate Realities Market!

Your projects will now be carefully reviewed by our external assessment committee. Applicants will be notified of the decision by 1 April.

We’ve still got lots of Marketplace opportunities on the go and in the works, such as Round Tables and 10-Minute Meets, Sales and Distribution Summit, On-Screen Talent Market and Doc/Player, which are open to everyone, from emerging talents to established filmmakers.

Round Tables

This session format invites delegates to meet with Decision Makers through informal group discussions. Running for 90 minutes, the session features five tables with one or two Decision Makers at each table. During the course of the event, you will meet with all attending Decision Makers for 15-minute group meetings.

10-Minute Meets

This one-to-one format allows you to meet with Decision Makers for 10-short minute meetings. Each session focuses on a particular topic, and features Decision Makers representing that part of the industry. These are match-made sessions where Decision Makers are brought together with the participants that are most relevant to them.

Our 2017 Round Tables and 10-Minute Meets included sessions on Audio Docs and Podcasts, Hybrid Docs, theatrical and TV distribution for feature-length documentaries, how to budget you VR project, as well as Meet the Festivals.
Decision Makers who attended came from organisations such as Nowness, SXSW, IDFA, DocSociety, BBC, ARTE, Dogwoof and Final Cut for Real.

Calls for Round Tables and 10-Minute Meets open 30 April and close mid-May.
