Door to doc

Want to attend the biggest documentary event in the UK for just £1?

From Door to Doc is a community outreach programme run by Sheffield Doc/Fest and supported by Wellcome that strives to enable members of Sheffield and the surrounding areas, who wouldn’t normally be able to access the Festival, to come and enjoy a Festival experience for just £1.

We believe arts and culture should be accessible to everyone, whatever postcode, financial income, disability, or other seeming barriers. The aim of the project is to reach out to our community, as a big part of Sheffield Doc/Fest is a celebration of beautiful South Yorkshire.

On the evening of Thursday 7 June, and the morning of the 8th of June, we invite members from the local community to take part in their first documentary film festival. Doc/Fest will cover travel to and from the city centre, invite you to see a film, explore an interactive exhibition and see some talks at the Doc/Fest Exchange.

From Door to Doc will provide the following for £1:

We’ll pick you up from your door, bring you to the city centre, and then drop you back home!

A ticket to a documentary at the Festival

A tour of the Alternate Realities VR and interactive exhibition at Trafalgar Warehouse
