The future of non fiction and documentary is here. Welcome to Alternate Realities, Sheffield’s annual programme of interactive and immersive story worlds.
Journey into the lives of others in more visceral ways than ever before. Visit new digital dimensions that create connectivity and shared understanding with a real purpose. To defy the divisive and destructive rhetoric we see in our feeds and on our flat screens and look to a future of hope and unity.
This year we are taking residency in Trafalgar Warehouse, a warehouse and gallery in the cultural quarter of Sheffield that we are transforming into a space for digital exploration and real life conversation. Inside, our exhibition is split into Better Known Truths - a room that brings together real stories captured in 360º that the audience experience communally and The World Unknown To You - a large warehouse space that contains powerful and potent installations.
