We've extended the deadline to apply to be part of this year's From Door To Doc Programme.

Sheffield Doc/Fest believes everyone in the Sheffield City Region should have the opportunity to experience our Festival regardless of their background or income. From Door to Doc is our community outreach programme, supported by Wellcome, which invites community groups from Sheffield and the surrounding areas who would not normally attend the Festival to join us for a specially curated Festival experience in June.

On the evenings of Thursday 6 June and Friday 7 and the morning of Saturday 8 of June, we invite members from the local community to attend Doc/Fest. The Festival will cover travel to and from the city centre, provide tickets to a specially selected film, take groups to explore an interactive exhibition and see inspiring talks at the Doc/Fest Exchange.

From Door To Doc 2018 Feedback

A million thanks for a fantastic trip to Doc/Fest. It's been interesting - if not surprising - to find out that the vast majority of our group were visiting the Showroom for the first time. The film has provoked a lot of thought and interest, and a couple of our members went back to the VR exhibition after the trip was officially over as they wanted to explore it further. All in all a resounding success, and a very good turnout on the day in comparison with other trips we've organised.- Helen Lyle - Therapy Worker and Progression Lead - SAGE Greenfingers
