ISRAAC Diaspora Multimedia Hub
in partnership with Eryal TV and Sheffield Hallam University


ISRAAC is a Sheffield-based Charity running for over 30 years, providing a range of services and support, primarily for Somali and the wider Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugee (BAMER) communities in the inner-city area. ISRAAC is based at Vestry Hall, Cemetery Road providing a kitchen run by a Syrian chef, an African Women's Space and the Diaspora Multimedia Hub & studio (DMH) in partnership with Eryal TV and Sheffield Hallam University.

The Diaspora Multimedia Hub has been commissioned to produce four short documentaries, as part of their ongoing work with Sheffield’s Somali community. The focus of these films will be ‘Untold Stories of Sheffield’ and will reflect upon points of transition and perseverance on an individual and community level.
