Home movies take up a strange space in archives; they offer insight into lives, but are often clumsily made and aimless. This special film programme features archive clips of middle class films of holidays and picnics in the 1950s, video of childhood moments, to the future of mass media in vlogs, to show how style and aims of films have changed in response to technological advancements. Join the curators, Barbican Young Programmers, for screening and Q&A.
This event is part of the Doc/Fest Exchange programme bringing together a specially curated programme of free talks, films and conversations to revolutionise what makes a healthy planet.
