Channel 4 and Arrow Media promised to do Space in a way that no other broadcaster has attempted before. Rather than looking out at the cosmos they wanted to show a warts and all version of Space from the view point of the astronauts on the International Space Station. What does it take to become an astronaut? What dangers do they face? What can they tell us about the state of our planet from 250 miles above us? How do you get access to NASA and how do you make a live, interactive broadcast form Space? In this session we assess how successful this daring campaign was both on air and online.
