So what’s it like to be filmed your entire life? Channel 4’s Born to be Different has been following the lives of six disabled children for 20 years. From birth to early adulthood they have laid bare their emotions, and as viewers we’ve had the unique opportunity to see the children grow up on film. The contributors reveal what it’s been like to have a TV crew document their lives. Has it been positive, empowering even? Do they regret it? And how do they feel about the those who have been following them?
