After studying Film & Screen Practice in the University of Surrey, Roehampton, Paul started his television career in London freelancing for a variety of production companies from Wall to Wall and Outline to Betty and Optomen, CNBC and Boundless to Boomerang and BBC Studios. He has worked in the production of big formats like Dragons' Den (BBC Two), The Apprentice (BBC One) and The World's Strictest Parents (BBC Three) as well as specialist factual series Turn Back Time-The High Street (BBC One). Paul has developed a range of shows including formatted multi-access series Posh Pawn Brokers and documentary Flat Pack Mansions for Channel 4 and originated hybrid makeover / dating show, Strip Date for 5STAR. Originally from Lancashire, Paul relocated back to the North of England to lead Salford's BBC Studios Factual development team where he originated a new format for BBC Daytime and developed up the new BBC Three sex and relationship therapy series Sex on the Couch, before coming to MultiStory Media (formerly known as Shiver) where he now oversees the Salford office’s varied development slate.
