Recognised as one of the industry's most mercurial and provocative creative thinkers, Simon is best known for taking a left field approach to mainstream popular factual subjects. BAFTA-nominated for BBC TWO’s Hospital and Discovery/Channel 4's The Plane Crash, his exec producer credits include stints at the helm of Bear Grylls' Wild Weekends, as well as multi-camera 'rig' shows One Born Every Minute and The Hotel, both of which he also commissioned during his time as deputy head of documentaries at Channel 4. Former MD of Dragonfly Film & Television Productions, Simon is a co-creator of 24 Hours in A&E and in 2015 led the team that refreshed and relaunched First Dates. His most recent credit is as one of the executive producers of BBC TWO's Schooland Channel 4 dating pilot Five Guys A Week.
