Dominic is a confident and sensitive self-shooting documentary filmmaker who makes intimate, up-close and personal films about people who remain on the fringes of the social spectrum. His films are character driven and anchored in the present tense. In 2016, he was selected out of 900 applicants to be a New BBC Documentary Director. His latest film, which was commissioned by BBC 1, is a 60’ film on his Grandfather who suffers from Dementia. He is currently working at Minnow Films, collaborating with filmmakers such as Morgan Matthews and Penny Woolcock. He has shot and directed several films for The Guardian and The British Council.
