Kim Shillinglaw became Director of Factual at Endemol Shine UK in September 2016, one of the UK’s biggest production groups, currently making shows for all the major U.K. broadcasters as well as Netflix, Amazon, Nat Geo, A&E and Discovery. Prior to joining Endemol Shine UK, Kim was Controller of BBC Two and BBC Four from March 2014. Kim joined the BBC in 2006 as an executive producer for BBC Factual, becoming Commissioning Editor for Science and Natural History in 2009. Kim also worked at CBBC as Commissioner for Indies, developing and commissioning the first series of Horrible Histories, and in documentaries and current affairs both inside the BBC and in the independent sector.
