Doc/Player Coordinator

The Doc/Player Coordinator (formerly Marketplayer) will work closely with the Films and Marketplace teams to showcase the best new documentaries via the Doc/Fest’s fully digitised film library, offering one of the best platforms in the world to promote documentaries seeking sales, distribution and screening opportunities. You will communicate directly with filmmakers to ensure they have the tools necessary to make the best of their Festival experience before, during, and post-Festival. You will collect all content for online and offline use from these filmmakers, including collating information for the printed Doc/Player Guide, and will give marketing support to all contributing films. You will also work with the Events team to host events to welcome Festival delegates to the Doc/Player, and encourage them to visit the dedicated space during Doc/Fest and the Doc/Player’s online home for three months following the Festival.

Venue Coordinators

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team in an essential front line role at Sheffield Doc/Fest 2017. Your role will ensure that specific elements of the Festival run smoothly, and that Public audiences and industry delegates have the best experience possible. The successful applicant will be confident in working with staff, volunteers and the public, and have experience of working on events in a technical or production or front of house capacity. You will be the face of each venue, acting as a central point of contact.

You will work with an assigned Festival department: Films, Alternate Realities, Talks & Sessions, Marketplace, Production, Events and/or Box Office, to assist in the delivery of Sheffield Doc/Fest 2017 to the highest standard. For more information on job and person specification please see below.
