Administrative & Executive Assistant

The Administrative & Executive Assistant is a key, permanent role, providing a pivotal function as first port of call for communications, and coordinating the running of day-to-day office operations. With solid administrative skills and a keen eye for detail, this role offers much-needed support for the core team whilst also offering an unprecedented and in-depth understanding of the inner-workings of Doc/Fest and its busy and creative working environment. Alongside this, the Administrative & Executive Assistant will work closely with the CEO, as a personal assistant, providing additional support for the senior management team where required.

Operations Assistant

We're currently recruiting for a significant temporary role – one which offers the opportunity to work on the planning of the 25th Festival from November 2017, through to the Festival itself in June 2018. With keen administrative and organisational skills, the Operations Assistant will work on the registration and ticketing systems, for Doc/Fest’s industry delegate and public audiences, and supervise the running of the Delegate Centre over the Doc/Fest week. Offering a unique insight into the Festival’s operations, the successful candidate work closely with both the Registration and Ticketing teams. On top of this, the role will involve day to day administrative and general assistance for the office, working within the Operations Department, across all departments, to ensure the smooth running of the organisation, and of all festival activity. This is an opportunity to experience the inner workings of the UK’s largest documentary film festival and gain in-depth knowledge on the operational systems and procedures put in place to ensure the festival runs smoothly.

Marketing Coordinator

We're very pleased to offer the exciting opportunity for a marketing professional to join the 2018 Festival team as Marketing Coordinator. As the Coordinator of a department, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will be a highly skilled communications professional and commercially minded individual who will work with the Marketing & Events Consultant and the Marketing Manager with the support of a small team, to deliver Doc/Fest’s marketing and audience development strategies.

Alternate Realities Coordinator

We're recruiting for a key role within the Alternate Realities department – which produces Doc/Fest’s Alternate Realities Exhibition and Summit each year – dedicated to giving a platform to interactive, augmented reality and virtual reality factual content. The selected candidate will have a passion for, and working knowledge of, storytelling through immersive technology, and will be production minded – with experience of taking technical specifications and sourcing the necessary equipment and resources to create a high quality presentation. Working together with the Alternate Realities Curator and Producer, this role involves getting involved from the selection and programming stage and coordinating for the department through production, through to delivery.
