Across Spain, Brazil and Yorkshire the same struggle continues. Common land is appropriated from the people to serve the wealthy few. These three films tell the stories of those affected, past and present, and those fighting back.

Following the screening of Shorts: This Land is Our Land on Sun 26 Jun, join us for a guided walk, starting from outside the Showroom Cinema:

Right to Roam Ramble
26 Jun, 12:10
Meet outside the Showroom Cinema
Approx. length: 90mins
Free, Register for the walk via Eventbrite.

Join us for a gentle walk and talk led by ramblers Terry Howard (protagonist of the short film Ramble On) and Maxwell Ayamba, founder of 100 Black Men Walk for Health and Sheffield Environmental Movement. As we walk and discover the green lands close to Sheffield's city centre, we will learn more about the right to roam and the UK’s radical history of trespass.
