The son of a well-known Thai billionaire businessman, Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit helped found the Future Forward Party in 2018 and registered himself as a Prime Ministerial candidate the following year. Excited by the way he changed the political landscape in the country, for the first time Thailand’s younger population took an active interest in government.
