Three environmental campaigners are faced with corruption, murder and betrayal as they battle to save an island paradise in the Philippines.

Agent France-Presse bureau chief Karl Malakunas was preparing a story on eco-tourism in the Filipino archipelago province of Palawan when his main contact, an environmental campaigner, was shot and killed. The story transformed into this film, with Malakunas witnessing the destruction of an island by authorities who are meant to be protecting it and the group of committed individuals intent on fighting back. Chief among them is local environmental lawyer Bobby Chan, who becomes the film’s lynchpin. Delikado exposes how indigenous communities are impacted by corrupt practices and the drive for natural resources.
