In 2018, the Nicaraguan police brutally repressed anti-government protests organised by high school students. K., a 17-year-old girl who was arrested, recounts the horrors of her time in jail.
This is the story of K., a 17-year-old girl in Nicaragua who was arrested in 2018.

In solidarity with senior citizens, whose protest had been violently repressed the previous day, K. and her schoolmates organise a protest against the government of Daniel Ortega. Violent repression of the youth protest will change her life forever.

Based on the drawings of K., this animated short takes us through the harrowing journey she endured after being arrested and jailed. Meeting other protesters in prison, we see the resilience and courage of those fighting the regime.
