The Alternate Realities programme is a chance to explore boundaries of technology and storytelling to find new ways to engage with audiences, giving us an opportunity to explore our diverse lives, past and present, in innovative ways. The program this year focuses on making audience members active agents in the visual experience.
This year’s programme contains 5 unique projects, all showcased at Site Gallery, and encompasses exciting new work that invites audiences to morph into a bat, embrace the magical force of bodily touch, reflect on our bodily existence in virtual worlds and piece together the powerful testimonies of Bedouin women fighting to preserve their culture and history.
