High energy Hip-hop afro fusionist, Franz Von is best known as the high octane emcee of much loved afrofusion kings K.O.G & The Zongo Briage and nationally renowned jazz fusionists TC & The Groove Family. He unleashes his message through a masterful use of spoken word, rap and social commentary that simultaneously honours his heritage whilst looking for ways of pushing boundaries. Franz regularly works with young artists to develop their lyrics across Sheffield including at Sheffield Music School.
Hak Baker is a documentarian as much as he is a songwriter. The East End poet, musician, and spokesman for his community is a vital, inimitable voice for those often denied one. Whether chronicling his own experiences or those of the people around him, his music offers an indispensable insight into the struggles of the working classes. The injustices, the hustle and the heartache.
In collaboration with Slambarz.
