Blending documentary interviews, fictional setting and audience decision-making, The Acquisitions Panel is an interactive artwork about the legacies of European colonialism and who gets to choose the stories we tell.

The Acquisitions Panel invites 12 people to participate. Placed in a room together for 2 hours, They are told they form a committee - an acquisitions panel - for a local museum. The museum has been offered a controversial colonial object. They need to decide if it will be accepted. With the help of videos, iPads, voting and a lot of discussion, the panel need to make their decision.

The Acquisitions Panel is a limited capacity experience, lasting 2 hours. Please only sign up if you intend to come.
