З любов'ю з фронту

Book Tickets
A mother, filmmaker and volunteer Ukrainian soldier offers up a testament to the power of love in a time of war, conveyed through letters to her young son.
Filmmaker Alisa Kovalenko presents an on-the-ground documentary detailing the reality of fighting on the frontlines in Ukraine. Narrated in the form of a video diary and addressed to her young on Theo, Kovalenko chronicles the day-to-day reality of fighting in Ukraine since the Russian invasion, depicting in equal measure the battlefield camaraderie and relentless drudgery of daily routines, as well as the terror and chaos of being under attack. She grapples with the motivations that bring volunteer soldiers to the front and the desire for freedom and peace that makes them stay. It’s a deeply moving, highly personal exploration of war, motherhood, duty and loss.
